Microbiome sequencing lab technician

Following the successful completion of the Personalized Nutrition Project conducted by leading scientists at the Weizmann Institute of Science, the research technology was licensed to DayTwo company, that provides personalized nutrition and behavioral guidelines that maintain normal blood glucose levels and healthy outcomes. Based on the research, a patent pending proprietary machine learning algorithms derived from unique large-scale datasets, is used to accurately predict the personalized blood glucose response of individuals to food based on the unique biometric and other health information of each person. We are currently expanding our lab in order to provide sequencing services of the gut microbiome composition to DayTwo.

Responsibilities

  • Running the lab daily operations specializing in Microbiome DNA sequencing process (DNA purifications, Illumina library preparations, etc.)

What You Bring To The Team

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, including strong strategic planning and content development in the healthcare &/or biology weight/nutrition experience required

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Executive Assistant to support our President and manage the office for our growing team. This position requires an individual who is able to wear many hats and execute tasks with enthusiasm and vigor. Supporting DayTwo’s President, you will manage their calendar to increase their productivity and maintain the daily office operations. Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to DayTwo’s President: Calendaring, domestic and international travel coordination, expense reporting, conference registration/coordination, etc.
  • Scheduling internal and external meetings with executives, board members, etc., and coordinating logistics for offsite meetings
  • Assist VP of HR with interview scheduling and creating a great candidate experience
  • Assist with new business pitches, including logistics, swag ordering and delivery, on-site layout and presentation materials

Requirements

The Director of Nutrition (CDE) at DayTwo is a vital part of our team providing individual or group training, diabetes education, and follow-up for all practitioners and Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs). You will work with the President to provide training and education across multiple territories on current DayTwo products and technologies. As a member of our growing team working directly with our leadership team, you will shape the approach and practice of our training program both in person and in a virtual setting.

Your Impact:

  • Advise and consult with DayTwo’s team to design our training program and serve as a consultant to our practitioners and CDEs
  • Stay current on diabetes education and weight management best practices to leverage proven techniques to enhance program engagement and outcomes
