DayTwo is the leader in microbiome based precision medicine solutions. Its first product, based on groundbreaking research led by Prof. Eran Segal and Prof. Eran Elinav from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, and exclusively licensed to DayTwo, is a personalized nutrition platform. It aims to normalize blood sugar levels and reduce risk for metabolic diseases like obesity, diabetes, and hypertension, leveraging the world’s largest and most detailed microbiome database. Microbiome sequencing lab technician

Following the successful completion of the Personalized Nutrition Project conducted by leading scientists at the Weizmann Institute of Science, the research technology was licensed to DayTwo company, that provides personalized nutrition and behavioral guidelines that maintain normal blood glucose levels and healthy outcomes. Based on the research, a patent pending proprietary machine learning algorithms derived from unique large-scale datasets, is used to accurately predict the personalized blood glucose response of individuals to food based on the unique biometric and other health information of each person. We are currently expanding our lab in order to provide sequencing services of the gut microbiome composition to DayTwo.

Responsibilities

  • Running the lab daily operations specializing in Microbiome DNA sequencing process (DNA purifications, Illumina library preparations, etc.)
  • Responsibility for samples storage management
  • Taking part in establishing of the sequencing lab which provides services to DayTwo
  • Taking part in establishing, developing and improving processes, procedures and quality
  • Responsibility for the Lab inventory management

Sequencing lab computational specialist

We are looking for a computational biologist with information technology orientation to join our team.
DayTwo is in the process of building a cutting edge high throughput sequencing facility for sequencing
microbiome samples at unprecedented scales.
You will take part, and potentially lead, the development and maintenance of computational aspects of
the sequencing pipeline, including automation, quality control, and monitoring.
You will work closely with both the research team and wet lab team.
At first, this will be a part time job with flexible hours, but will likely grow in capacity with time.

Responsibilities

  • Take part in development of sequencing lab computational processes including:
    • Conversion of sequencing files to fastq formats
    • Quality control of runs
    • Monitoring bioinformatic processes
    • Upload of sequencing results to cloud storage

The Director, Social Media & Content Marketing will lead content strategy and production for DayTwo’s social media and all media platforms. Promoting health across digital properties and creating new online access points for customers to engage, with the ultimate goal of establishing DayTwo’s product pipeline of microbiome-based diagnostics and therapeutic solutions as the preferred choice in leading healthcare organizations.

Your goals are to drive the growth of our user base and increase engagement among existing users. To be successful, you’ll create a clearly defined marketing strategy and manage scalable, performance-driven campaigns to create relevant content that engages, educates and services our digital platform toward a best-in-class. The Director will have a keen sense of what types of messages, stories, conversations, and engagement models makes sense with different audiences, roles, and levels in the healthcare and nutrition vertical.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with COO and Director, Business Development to craft integrated marketing plans that increase brand awareness, engagement and conversions to elegantly position DayTwo’s products to target the health and wellness industry
  • Develop, design, implement and maintain comprehensive consumer-focused social media and content marketing strategies that prioritize customer engagement, foster brand loyalty, drive sales, acquire new customers, and retain core users
  • Champion the development of social media and online reputation management standards, policies and rules of engagement or digital channels that also incorporate measurement tools, analytics and reporting methods to gauge success and determine how to refine/define campaign best optimize performance
  • Track key market trends and competitive messages to influence the content creation strategy and create the necessary content to address key trends and competitive positioning with POVs, insights, proactive statements, strategic stories, etc.

What You Bring To The Team
