About our Company

DayTwo is the world’s first provider of health improvement and disease prevention solutions based on Gut Microbiome research. Its first product, based on groundbreaking research led by Prof. Eran Segal and Prof. Eran Elinav from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, and exclusively licensed to DayTwo, is a personalized nutrition platform. It aims to normalize blood sugar levels and reduce risk for metabolic diseases like obesity, diabetes, and hypertension, leveraging the world’s largest and most detailed microbiome database. DayTwo’s product pipeline includes additional microbiome-based diagnostic and therapeutic solutions.

  • In the research department, we develop and deploy large scale on-the-fly predictions using our ML computational clusters, and process massive amounts of user-generated data for future algorithmic improvements.
    We are looking for a talented Python backend developer, and Data enthusiast to join our team!
    you will get to take part in developing our soft-realtime ML backbone, while helping us in analyzing huge amounts of interesting data.
    Requirements:

  • We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions.
    You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)

  • As a front-end engineer at DayTwo, you’ll deliver a unique software product to the market that captures and shows analyses and visualizations on large volumes of data. We have more sources of data than anyone in the market and can deliver insights that cannot be matched. You’ll get the opportunity to get in early and help shape the platform.
    You will work closely with our design, scientific, and medical teams to build delightful user interfaces, dashboards and data visualization. We use modern tools such as React, Redux, and ES6 on the front-end and Scala / Play on the backend.
    Qualifications:
    1. Expertise in building complex layouts with CSS and HTML

  • As a full stack engineer at DayTwo, you’ll deliver a unique software product to the market that captures and shows analyses and visualizations on large volumes of data. We have more sources of data than anyone in the market and can deliver insights that cannot be matched. We’re looking to hire people who can dive in and deliver results quickly. You’ll get the opportunity to get in early and help shape the platform.
    This is a unique position, as you’ll have the entire picture and you’ll work with other engineers that might focus on one part of the application.
    Responsibilities:
    1. Collaborate with our doctors to ensure that the dashboard allows them to make recommendations effectively and efficiently
    2. Collaborate with bioinformaticians to figure out how to display data from the labs
    3. Collaborate with other frontend and backend engineers to drive releases in AWS – we’re using ansible
    4. Contribute to web services and defining interfaces – we’re using Scala, Slick for web services, but good Java experience is sufficient.
    5. Contribute to front-end code – we’re using React and Redux, but Javascript experience with any other modern framework suffices
    6. Ensure security of the system – security is important for medical data and we need to be HIPAA compliant, so we’re encrypting all data at rest and in transition using SSL and encrypted storage. You should be able to maintain this and ensure security for the new code.
